Homemade dog treats are fun for you and good for your dog.  Wouldn’t it be nice to give your special friend something from your own kitchen?  We are here to help!

Tuna treats

  • 12 oz tuna in water (do not drain)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 to 1.5 cups flour
  • Parm cheese

Mash tuna in bowl- liquefy in a blender- add water as needed
Pour into bowl- add flower and garlic powder
Spread into cookie sheet
Sprinkle with parmesian

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes- it will be the texture of putty cut into tiny squares
These can be frozen
Peanut butter treats

  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup white flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • ¾ cup cornmeal
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ cup butter (melted)
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 2 eggs

Mix flour, oats, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder together in bowl
Beat butter, peanut butter and eggs together
Mix together in bowl
Roll out dough- bake a 325 for approx 40 min
I pre-score mine with a pizza cutter first

Liver Brownie recipe

  • 1 pound liver
  • 1 egg
  • 1 large slurp of milk

Blend all this in a blender until liquid, and fold it into 2.5 cups of flour. Pour into tray (i use a cookie sheet so they will be smaller) bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes. It depends on how thick you make them. Cut them into tiny pieces and freeze
